At the time the UK’s only film festival dedicated to screening work from Northern Europe, NLFF ran from 2003 to 2010.
I was Festival Manager and Acting Exec Director from 2006 to 2008.
The 2008 focus was on breakthrough talent, and we employed programmers to scout the globe for the most exciting new filmmakers out there, and to bring the most innovative debut works back to premiere in the North East.
